Kaleidoscope Inn & Gardens Wedding ~ Amy & Brian

Amy and Brian’s Kaleidoscope Inn & Gardens Wedding was actually a full weekend of fun experiences for them and their guests! I worked with Amy & Brian for 3 days the weekend of their wedding, and they are such a sweet, easy-going couple with a great energy about them. After meeting their friends and family, I can easily say they all had the same sweet nature, making the weekend an absolute blast!

The night before the wedding, Amy and Brian held their rehearsal dinner at Guiseppe’s Restaurant in Pismo. During their rehearsal dinner, there were speeches & toasts from their loved ones, a fun Q&A game with the couple (the “shoe” game!), and one very sentimental heirloom gift passed down to Amy from her father. And it was all topped off with amazing food; is there anything better than fresh homemade pasta?! Overall, making it the perfect way to kick off their wedding weekend!

The next morning, the big day had arrived! Kaleidoscope Inn & Gardens is a historic home built in 1887. It was later converted into a bed and breakfast and a wedding venue. It has a quaint charm about it, a welcoming spirit, and a feeling of escapism to it with its garden vibes. The facade of the house has white trim, brackets, and moldings that make it look like a real-life gingerbread house! Kaleidoscope Inn is a such a unique wedding venue. I was overjoyed to watch Amy & Brian say I do!

And their big day did not disappoint! When it came to their wedding day experience, Amy and Brian really pulled out all the stops. There was a bounce house, a caricature artist, a converted van photo booth, and a temporary tattoo station that included fun press-on tattoos with Amy and Brian’s faces on them! On the dance floor, there were light-up thunder sticks, which also doubled for use as their wedding exit arch later in the night. From their fur baby ring bearer to the flower man, the wedding pie (no cake!), and the amazing food & drinks, they truly thought of everything when planning their wedding day. The night ended with a late-night stop at Benny’s Pizza Palace & Social Club in San Luis Obispo!

Though their wedding day had passed, I still had one very special moment left with Amy and Brian. The day after their wedding we met at Montaña de Oro State Park. As the sun set, we walked along the shore for some epic couples portraits with trash-the-dress moments. I included a few of these shots in the blog below, but you’ll have to scroll through to see them!
