Chateau Noland Wedding

It’s a Chateau Noland wedding day for Courtney & Richard, complete with all the fairytale vibes you could ever hope for from the Central Coast! Nestled just outside of San Luis Obispo, Chateau Noland almost feels like a misnomer. After all, the venue is actually a castle. In fact, the Chateau was originally built with the owner’s Irish heritage in mind. But, once the new owners took control of the property, they transformed it with a touch of whimsy inspired by French architecture. Now, it’s an exquisite wedding venue on the Central Coast.

This castle venue has a magic to it that you really do have to see to believe. But, Courtney and Richard brought the property to life with their fantasy-filled wedding day. A love story befitting of the idyllic wedding venue they chose to say I do. With plans for their dream wedding day safely put into action, the big day arrived before we knew it.

On the day of the wedding, Courtney’s getting ready suite as well as Richard’s were both lively and filled with the members of their wedding party. Courtney wore a romantic wedding gown with detachable off-the-shoulder sleeves. She also decided to have a first look with each member of her wedding party. The suite had a flight of stairs leading up to the landing, so one by one each bridesmaid walked up the stairs to see Courtney in her wedding gown for the very first time. It was truly a unique experience that added to the magic of the day. Meanwhile, Richard and his groomsmen slipped on their matching ties and raised a glass in honor of the groom.

The couple opted to meet at the altar. An alfresco ceremony space nestled at the base of a hill on the property. The views in every direction were filled with the splendor of the landscape, and it was here that Courtney and Richard were pronounced as married. After their ceremony, it was time to enjoy a walk through the rest of the grounds, as I captured portraits of the newlyweds. There were so many magnificent tucked-away spots on the grounds that allowed me to portray the magical essence of Courtney and Richard’s love story. In particular, the wrought iron bridge embodied the vibes of the day. A sweeping landscape, a glowly sunset, the summer breeze, and a couple that had just promised to stand beside each other until the end of time.

When it was time to party in honor of the newlyweds, the wedding reception at Chateau Noland was all about having fun. There was a duet by the bride and her father, and a surprise appearance on the dance floor by the groom. Richard came dressed as Michael Jackson ready to lead the dance floor in a fun rendition of Thriller. Courtney and Richard signed their names, along with their wedding date, on the door of Chateau Noland, forever cementing their wedding day in the venue’s history.
