Oceanpoint Ranch Wedding Cambria CA

Megan and Andy’s Oceanpoint Ranch wedding by the sea was a casual day full of fun elements!

Oceanpoint Ranch is located on the shores of Moonstone Beach. Making it fairly easy to add seaside wedding portraits to your day. Megan and Andy began their wedding day at Oceanpoint Ranch with a first look on the grounds before we walked over to the beach. Once on the shores of the beach, Megan performed a head to toe smudging before their wedding ceremony. Performing sage smudging prior to your wedding vows is thought to cleanse you of any negative energy. This allows you to enter into your marriage together in a positive light!

Oceanpoint Ranch has a sort of romantic, rustic charm to it. Their open-air event lawn is accented by towering pines and set against the backdrop of those amazing ocean views. The vibe there is very relaxed. But Megan and Andy’s laid-back personalities really showed how you can make this wedding venue uniquely yours. Their color palette for the day was done in shades of purple. Including the bridesmaid’s dresses, their wedding cake, pops of vibrant purple florals mixed in the bouquets, and one fun element that we saved for last!

Once Megan and Andy were pronounced husband and wife, they had time to grab a quick drink before stopping inside the What’s Up Mobile Photobooth. From there, we headed back to the beach. Megan had the awesome idea to light purple smoke grenades for their wedding day photos and the result was amazing. Scroll through the photos in the blog below to see!
