Swallow Creek Ranch Wedding Cayucos California

Wren and Rory’s Swallow Creek Ranch wedding was an absolutely surreal experience! Having known them both since my high school days, it was so unbelievable to watch them be joined in marriage. In fact, not only have I known them since high school, but Wren and Rory have been sweethearts ever since!

I have to admit, choosing Swallow Creek Ranch for their wedding ceremony was the perfect location for them. Located in San Luis Obispo County, the ranch provides gorgeous coastal views. Part of the ranch’s charm includes a historic dairy barn. The barn, built in 1863, and crafted from ancient redwood; still resides on the ranch today. The ranch offers several locations to host your wedding ceremony, Wren and Rory selected the Hilltop Amphitheatre.

The hilltop amphitheater has panoramic views of Estero Bluffs State Park. It’s a stunning vista of endless rolling hilltops. Yet, at the same time, the space feels so secluded and tucked away. A truly beautiful location for any couple searching for a wedding venue in San Luis Obispo County that embraces all the beauty and splendor of the region. During Wren and Rory’s wedding ceremony, the couple chose to draw from Wren’s heritage and infuse their sunset ceremony with old Gaelic traditions. In addition to their unique ceremony, Wren and Rory very much focused their wedding day on elements that reflected their personalities.

One of my favorite elements was Wren’s wedding dress! A floral embroidered gown, bursting with earthy tones and woodland, Autunman vibes! The floral elements on Wren’s gown were only the beginning. The couple’s wedding arbor was brimming with wildflowers in vibrant shades. At the same time, their wedding reception celebration infused hints of wildflowers on their welcome sign, table numbers, and of course, in bountiful arrangements on their guest’s tables.

While all of the carefully thought-out elements of their wedding reception were stunning, the celebration itself did not disappoint! Wren and Rory hired a local bluegrass band to play for them and their guests all night, and they brought the vibe. It was a rocking good time, and I wish Wren and Rory all the happiness in the world as they embark on this new chapter together!
